Ayurveda has been a part of Indian culture for a very long time and the modernization given by brands like Kama Ayurveda and Forest Essentials is quite applaudable.
By launching Ayurveda through these luxurious brands have not just helped keeping our ancient roots intact but also helped in making it global.
I have used many products from Kama Ayurveda and reviewed them on this blog. Today I would like to talk about Nalpamaradi Thailam that I have used many times and purchased the product again and again. To be honest, it will never leave my skincare regime.
It is an oil with a yellow tinge as turmeric is one of the main ingredient. When applied, it leaves a yellow tinge to your face however it is not overwhelming.
People with acne prone skin don’t have to worry with it’s texture being oily as this wont break them out. I have acne prone skin and I have never seen any break outs after using this product.
The only downside I feel about this product is it’s fragrance. It has slightly herbal, medical type of fragrance. Honestly I am not sure how to describe it. All I can say that it ain’t pleasant.
This has to be applied on face or body for 30 mins avoiding the eye area. You can wash it off with a mild cleanser and cold water after 30 mins.
It promises to illuminates the skin and is ideally recommended for brides to be. It works on removing the tanning from the skin giving it a healthy glow.
When I was first introduced to this product I was skeptical considering I had an acne prone skin. But then the turmeric made me feel safe. I tried and was taken aback with the results. It immediately illuminates the skin and with regular use my complexion became one shade lighter. There were no break outs and since then I couldn’t keep my hands off from this product.
