We all know what happens when Monsoon arrives. Yes!! Its HAIR FALL time. How crazy amount of hair starts shedding and you think you will loose all your precious hair this season.
Don’t worry my friends!! I have my share of love hate relationship with my hair during Monsoon and I have come up with some solution. This blog is dedicated to all the people out there who want to know more..
Basically it is the same old routine of oiling and washing my hair (with a little addition). However I changed my oil and shampoo this time that saved my hair from any further shedding. So let’s go through those magical products..
I normally use Coconut or Olive oil for a quick massage when I want to moisturize my hair. This product was suggested by my sister and she swears by it. I tried and honestly liked the product.
Honesty, we see lot of products that are available selling in the name of hair fall control etc. but this oil is different than many. I will tell you why.
First of all, this product is 100% natural. I have used variety of Ayurvedic hair oil but there are other factors in which Bringadi takes the lead.
This oil is brown in color and have medicinal look, primarily because of it’s ingredients. Also the ingredient list is quite extensive therefore I am putting the picture for reference rather than jotting it on the blog.
Another thing about Bringadi is that it does have a different fragrance which might be off putting for few of you. Honestly, I haven’t seen any pleasant smelling Ayurvedic oil. Have you? Do mention in the comments section below.
As per the directions, the oil must be applied to the scalp gently. It is more like a scalp treatment unlike other oils where we apply mostly in the ends of our hair.
Thankfully the oil doesn’t feel too greasy and heavy otherwise it’s highly irritating to oil especially during summers we have in Delhi. It’s definitely worth the effort as the after effects are conditioned, soft hair. I also noticed the difference in the hair fall. So worth the try!!
I can write all day about this shampoo and conditioner. I have tried many different shampoos and conditioners but the formula with Toni & Guy is absolutely amazing.
To be honest you don’t need conditioner in monsoon season and shampoo alone will make your hair quite moisturized. But if conditioner is a must have for you then please go ahead.
Another tip is to double cleanse in case you have oiled your hair with Kama Ayurveda Bringadi. Even if you are using any other oil, double cleanse would be needed with this shampoo. The after smell of this product is quite pleasing as well.
Conditioner has a creamy texture that leaves a silky and bouncy feel to the hair. Extremely moisturizing and trust me once you start using it, there is no looking back.
Well this step isn’t necessary until you want softer shinier hair. Honestly, I am not a “hair serum” person as I don’t think they make a huge difference. However there are many people with fizzy hair problem that would be swearing by this product.
“Toni & Guy Hair Shine Serum” is a great way of dealing with fizz this monsoon. It makes your hair smooth and helps in opening the knots that hold your curls. If you have straight hair then this will make your hair softer and silky.
Simple way to apply it is to take 2-3 pumps (depending on the length of your hair) and apply it evenly on wet hair. And that’s it!!
I have used this technique on many occasions and have noticed the difference it made to my hair. My hair were soft and silky and that too for two consecutive days. I don’t really think it made my hair very shiny but maybe it’s because I use less quantity.
Hope you enjoyed my monsoon hair care routine. Do comment whether the review was helpful or not. I would love your suggestions.
Till then, keep shining<3
