The Body Shop Haul

We all know that “The Body shop” is famous for their amazing range of bath and body care products that shifts the brain cells from not wanting to wanting everything.

Like any other girl, I have been a huge fan too. However few of their products are quite expensive and out of my budget most of the time. I keep waiting for the sale to begin but couldn’t find any earth shattering sale until June’17 when GST decided to upset the retailers.

For me the nearest store is like 10 kilometers away and I wouldn’t go that far to make a visit (call me lazy if you want to but that’s how I am). Thank God that there are more people like me and they invented online shopping.

I checked on their website and online sale was in place. I quickly grabbed my card and placed the order that arrived couple of days later.

I have used the products since they arrived and I wish to review it for you guys. Hope you guys find this information useful before making purchase from “The Body Shop” website.

The Body Shop Moringa Body Scrub – INR 1295 for 250ml

This is the first time I picked up the body scrub from The Body Shop and I loved every bit of it. The fragrance is so enriching, it stays on your body almost for the whole day. The scrub is good enough to get rid of the dead skin and surprisingly its damn moisturizing.

Pros –

  • Fragrance is great and long lasting
  • Hydrating moisturizer
  • Effective body scrub that takes off the dirt leaving a smooth skin
  • Good packaging

Cons –

  • Little expensive than usual body scrub however great deal during sale. Like I got it for half the price

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Butter – INR 1150 for 200ml

Honestly this brand is actually famous for their body butters and they sell them in variety of fragrances. I am always greedy, eyeing out their body butters during sale.

Unfortunately body butters were not ranged under flat 50% sale except for one, Fuji Green tea. With the name I was pretty sure I wouldn’t be a great fan but I ordered anyway.

Pros –

  • Refreshing fragrance
  • Will stay with you all day long
  • Highly moisturizing
  • Unlike the scrub I feel their body butters are worth the money as they are highly moisturizing and a tub will last you a season.

Cons –

  • An acquired scent which might not be pleasing to many
  • slightly greasy for oily skin type
  • Poor packaging for the price

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate – INR 1995 for 10ml

We all forget how important eye creams are for us but luckily it has been in my skin care routine since the beginning. I have tried various eye creams and since I was getting Drops of Youth at half the price, I couldn’t let that offer slip off my hands.

I used it and noticed good difference in the texture of my skin around the eyes. The eye area was brighter and firmer. I also felt that the serum was hydrating as well. Like I couldn’t see the wrinkles around my eyes the next morning.

Loved the packaging too and its quite easy to dispense the product and apply it directly to the eyes. Completely hygienic!!

Pros –

  • Effective formula that brightens and hydrates the skin
  • Great packaging

Cons –

  • I didn’t notice any issues

That was all for today’s post and I hope you find this review helpful. If yes then do subscribe to my blog for weekly newsletter as I keep posting some interesting stuff. Till then have a happy week <3
